Below-Grade Application

Below-Grade is applied to the foundation walls that are below street or ground level. It is also known as below-ground and basement waterproofing. Our team will apply membranes and a coat to the walls to help prevent leaks.

When in the design phase, this application happens in two parts. First, we conduct soil testing to detect the water table level, which is a large part in the design of a foundation. Then, the Geotech, structural and architectural professionals will solidify a plan. After, the test and planning are complete, we are able to strategically apply the coat to ensure a long-lasting and quality finish.

When in the construction phase, our below-grade waterproofing system will also include the application of perimeter drains. Our team will help you decide what drainage system is best for you.

Exterior Elastomeric Coating

Exterior elastomeric coating is used for structures above ground. This waterproof coating is 10 times thicker than paint and can be applied on exterior walls, roofing and more. One of the biggest benefits of this solution is its ability to bridge hairline cracks, making your structure that much more secure. It is also a very flexible coat, which means, even though it solidifies to a structure, it can bend and shift as the structure beneath it does.

Clear Water Repellent

Clear water repellent or sealer is best used on wood structures. Wood absorbs moisture leading to rot and safety hazards. This is a completely clear solution that allows wood to be naturally beautiful.

Pedestrian and Vehicular Membranes

Areas such as, parking garages, decks, and balconies are subject to every-day wear and tear. Pedestrian and Vehicular Membrane waterproof these areas with a coating. It is a defense against harmful moisture and chlorides.

Caulking and Sealing

Ensuring that your building is sealed is one of the most important steps in protecting your investment. Smaller cracks and holes can be filled with a waterproof sealant or caulk. Caulking is most commonly used to seal joints and seams that are meant to be sturdy and definite. Sealing is more flexible and is commonly used in areas where movement and/or expansion may occur.

Chemical Grout Injection

Chemical Grouting Injections are a non-invasive solution for utility leaks and pipe penetrations. Most utilities are within the walls and foundation, making a leak that much more of a problem. Depending on the water table elevation a little leak can turn into a flood in just a few hours. Chemical grouts are used to seal off the space between the conduits and cables.
